McMains Releases NEW Americana Music Video on Youtube

Renowned Americana singer-songwriter McMains released a new music video on Youtube for his recent single, “Since I Started Loving You”. A great video with a great song that will get fans of the Americana genre wanting more!

This wonderful composition serves as a backdrop in the music video for a romance story between two lovers. Both visually and acoustically pleasing, the video has styles from John Lennon, Elton John, and David Bowie. “Since I Started Loving You” feels timeless and nostalgic which is hard to come by nowadays with a Hip-Hop and Pop dominant market. Music is always ever-changing but it’s also refreshing to see and listen to someone like McMains who still makes us appreciate older styles of music.

Paul Simon Like Musician Dave Sereny roaring Spotify Playlist’s with Come Here Baby

Paul Simon like musician Dave Sereny, a Toronto-based Artist has propelled his newest single Come Here Baby to the number 15 jazz song on Spotify charts.

Dave’s Come Here Baby, is a glistful melodic soul tune with ear-piercing grooves than emulates the great singer Paul Simon.

The musical spirit along with Dave’s creative genius leaves listening to his newest album “Talk to Me”; relaxed and blissful as his beautiful guitar rifts play in your ears. However, there is more to the album’s single Come Here Baby than Dave’s creative genius. The background vocals are sung by Ugandan based Nemma Children’s Choir group. ISRC Numbers are Essential in Collecting Music Royalties from Social Media Sites like YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram

Many musicians don't know that music videos can be embedded with an ISRC number just like their audio file counterpart. This means that you must purchase two different ISRC codes if you want to collect all your music royalties.

Streaming royalties are being paid when a music video is streamed on an OTT device such as a mobile phone or smart TV. As a result, it’s possible to leave money on the table when you don’t purchase a separate ISRC number for your music video. These separate ISRC numbers for music videos are only sold by licensed ISRC vendors. Watch this YouTube video for more information.

Web ‘n Retail is licensed by the RIAA to distribute and embed ISRC numbers into your video file. They have been in business for 26 years helping musicians with specific challenges in their career. Furthermore, their flat rate ISRC service for music videos includes services other companies charge extra for. For more information about ISRC numbers and Web ‘n Retail’s services visit their website: www.MusicMarketingBYWebnRetail.com/ISRC-Number

Make Money From Your Music Videos on Social Media Sites Like Instagram But You Need an ISRC Number!

Did you know that you can get paid royalties from social media sites like Instagram when your music & lyric videos are streamed on these sites. In order to track these royalties, your music video must have an ISRC number embedded into the master file! If you use Instagram to promote your music then you definitely don’t want to miss out on this!

In the past, music videos were strictly for promoting songs. Nowadays, they are considered their own form of art. Therefore, you can collect royalties from your music video or lyric video when streamed on social media platforms like Facebook. However, you can only do so if you have an embedded ISRC number. You can see more info here on YouTube.

Web ‘n Retail is licensed by the RIAA to issue and embed ISRC numbers into your master audio and music video files.  We have been in business for over 25 years helping musicians with specific challenges that they face in their careers and in the ever changing music landscape. For more information, click here: www.MusicMarketingBYWebnRetail.com/ISRC-Number.

Collect Royalties From Sites Like Facebook and Youtube BUT Only IF You’ve Embedded an ISRC Number to Your Music Videos

Get paid for your music or lyric videos on Facebook and YouTube, only if you have an embedded ISRC number. An ISRC number tracks your playable streams turning your quality work into revenue or in other words, royalties.

Music and lyric videos in the past were considered for promotional use only. This has evolved as well as collection of royalties. You can now collect additional royalties from music videos, and lyric videos on streaming platforms such as Facebook and YouTube. The only requirement is to have an embedded ISRC code in those videos. ISRC (International Standard Recording Code) is a essential part of your master file in order for you to collect royalties. The ISRC number is tracked online and is reported to your distributor and those distributors would send out royalties accordingly. For more information, check with your distributors and PROs (Performing Rights Organization). You can also learn more info on YouTube.

To add an ISRC Code to your master audio and music video files, you must get one from an RIAA  licensed vendor. Web ‘n Retail is licensed to do so. In addition, Web n’ Retail is a music marketing agency and has helped musicians with marketing campaigns for over 25 years. For more information, click here: www.MusicMarketingBYWebnRetail.com/ISRC-Number.

Make MORE Money Online for Your Music Videos on Video Streaming Platforms like YouTube

Video Streaming sites like YouTube or Vimeo are paying royalties for your music videos and/or lyric videos only if you have an ISRC number embedded in your master video file. Most music distributors usually issue ISRC only for audio tracks rather than your video files so if you also want to GET PAID for your music videos, you need an ISRC embedded in your video file as well!

YouTube does in fact already have their own monetization system in place but what they don’t tell you is that it is possible for you to collect additional royalties not just from your uploaded videos. If your music video does in fact hold an ISRC number, then you will get royalties from your Performing Rights Organization, PRO (ASCAP, BMI, etc), and/or your distributor separate from the money YouTube already pays out to you through their system.

Whether you have a music video, a live concert video or a lyric video, it is a good habit to embed ISRC numbers to your master video files before posting the video ANYWHERE. Web ‘n Retail is licensed by the RIAA to not only issue ISRC numbers but we also fully embed the ISRC to your masters along with ALL your metadata that you may have (including a cover image) . For more information click here: www.MusicMarketingBYWebnRetail.com/ISRC-Number.

Are Your Songs Making Money From Music Video Streaming on Youtube?

Did you know that your songs on YouTube   that accompany your music video (whether a lyric or conceptual video)   pay royalties?  BUT…ONLY IF YOU HAVE AN ISRC NUMBER embedded in your master file. Most musicians (and distributors) believe(d) you only needed an ISRC number for an audio track but those days are over.  You now need one for your music videos IF YOU WANNA GET PAID!

There’s several different kinds of royalties (all of which is really confusing) but there’s no question that you get royalties for streaming of your music videos (ask your PRO for definition on this).

These days, there’s also some new royalties from OTT (“over-the-top”) streaming delivery (ie; smartphones, Playstations, smart TV’s, etc.) – however – no one I asked (and I asked a LOT of professionals in the “industry”) seem to be clear on just how those are being paid or who is paying them.  The most likely answer is through your distributor (Universal, Sony, CD Baby, Tunecore, etc.) and also through your PRO (ASCAP, BMI, etc.).

So, regardless of where the money is coming from, wouldn’t you rather be positioning your art to earn you money – than not?  Then get an ISRC number embedded into your video.  It only costs $57.  You can get one here: www.MusicMarketingBYWebnRetail.com/ISRC-Number .
