Web 'n Retail Interviews on KDOW AM 1220 about Online Blogging Campaigns

On August 25^th, on radio station KDOW in the Bay Area “The Wall Street Business Network”, Gale Rosenberg, President of Web ‘n Retail, participated on the live radio show PUNCH: Media and Marketing Made Easy with host Erika Taylor-Montgomery. The subject at hand was Online Marketing 101 - a subject that Ms. Rosenberg lectures about at UCLA and Loyola Marymount University.

Ms. Rosenberg was asked about what elements exist in the “online marketing” arena, to which she replied “eBlasts, blogs, Online website marketing by posting on forums/bookmark sharing services/news aggregators, social media like facebook, online press release distribution and SEO are the most basic that come to mind.”

The interview primarily focused on the most popular service that Web ‘n Retail offers, Viral Blogging Campaigns. These campaigns drive traffic to a website or other URL via blog postings on forums, bookmark sharing sites and news aggregators. She provided definitions for each type of site and cited examples by name that fit into each category. As well as information on how to find the sites, register, and post information that helps promote your product or service.

Walter Thompson Advertising, Orenstein/Savage Advertising, Billboard Magazine, Mix Magazine, ABC & MCA Records, PolyGram Distribution and Wherehouse Entertainment Corporation.  She launched Web ‘n Retail in 1994 which was a pioneer of the time by being one of the first companies to utilize the internet for online music marketing.  She has also been a regular lecturer at UCLA & Loyola Marymount University on the subject of Online Marketing for the past 3 years as well as a coach for businesses and individuals on the subject.
