A handful of indie record stores have already joined online ad agency Web 'N Retail, an offshoot of music-marketing company Rock 'N Retail, for the start of its Ad Sampler Program. The service will allow record labels to advertise their artists at retailers' websites and MySpace pages, in addition to their brick-and-mortar outlets.
